Erkocryl

Field of use:

Orthodontic plates, interim dentures, denture bases, dressing or compression plates. Also see Thermoforming technique manual and material card.

Material properties:

Stable, hard, acrylate base material. Bonds to acrylic (Resilit-S, 817 501 + 817 503).

Finishing:

(see Thermoforming technique manual) Finishing set Quick 2 (110 877), high polish is obtained using polishes for plastics.

Plastification:

(for machines without heating time or temperature control) Test softness of foil with an instrument. If permanent impressions result, thermoform.

Attention:

Erkocryl foils can moisten during storage. If this happens the result is bubbles when heating the foil. In this case the foils have to be predried before use. (1.5 mm = 180 min. / 2 mm = 240-300 min. / 2.5 mm = 360-420 min. at 80-90 C)
